好久没写博客了，都在微博～ 2011第一篇博客就献给了宫崎骏早期的作品-天空之城 (Laputa)。1986... 我才2岁吧。。。 据百度说这是Studio GHIBLI 的第一部作品，原作、监督、脚本和角色设定都是由宫崎骏来担任的，剧情说到Sheeta是传说中“天空之城Laputa”的后裔，那曾是超越地上文明不知几千年的空中文明，但不知为何，Sheeta 的祖先离开“天空之城”，抛弃发达的科技，在地面上过起隐居的生活。故事开始Sheeta所坐的飞行船遭到空中海盗的袭击，争斗中Sheeta从高空的飞行船上跌落下来被矿工机师的徒弟，Pasu 发现在一团蓝光的包围下从天上飘下来了。隔天Sheeta 在 Pasu 房间里醒来发现房里有一张“天空之城Laputa”的照片，据说是Pasu 的父亲冒着生命的危险历尽艰险才拍到的真正的天空之城，但除了Pasu之外，没有人相信他，最后在郁郁寡欢中去世了。于是Pasu 发誓，一定要向他人证实，世上真的有天空之城存在！ Trailer：(can't find Japanese trailer, this one i also dunno what language haha German maybe?) view picture lah
This is the animated version by Studio Ghibli sort of adapted from one of my favourite childhood book Diana Wynne Jones. Well i said sort of is caused the novel is quite different with the movie, can't remember much about the story edi when i last watched this anime but i remember Howl~ hehe~ I just wanna watch Howl and Calcifer hehe~ the film make Calcifer so adorable~ Hayao Miyazaki also didn't disappointed me that time and drew me a handsome Howl :D
Anyway i bought the book many moons ago~ finally made up my mind and pour $ on it~ good book are worthy for my collection :D but i only pick up the motivation to read it lately~ still at the beginning of the story there~
Speaking of Hayao Miyazaki (宮崎 駿), he has a new piece of work 借りぐらしのアリエッティ aired sometime in July in Japan, too bad our cinema don't shown Japanese anime in the theater, even if got, not in Sibu :( The website said Now showing, so i guess it just release to some part of the world lately only (aka US~) Anyhow, for our preview, here's a trailer
I love his art style and the theme music in the trailer sound nice to me, the news on weibo said that it's sang by a french singer. ( Wikipedia said she composed the soundtrack for the movie too) Anticipating the source to download fufufu with sub of caused~ from the trailer seems like the story about little people tribe who try to avoid extinction~
Nyan Koi! one of the anime i 'imported' from my cousin during CNY. mah the name pretty much tell u about what's the anime about edi, cat + love~ I have spend one of my 5 days weekend watching it~ 12 episode only~ easily finished watching in a day~ Very relaxing anime, i won't said it's extremely good but the cat are very cute! (probably not in the first sight but as u watch on, the cats are getting cutter and cutter :P) The story is about 高坂 潤平, (Junpei Kōsaka) who dislike cat caused he's allergic to them who woke up one day finding himself able to understand what the cats talk about. He later found out it's due to the curse of the neko-jizō (猫地藏) who he accidentally beheaded while kicking an empty can the day before. Nyamsus, Junpei's family cat and Tama, temple priest's cat later tell Junpei that unless he fulfilled the wish of 100 cats, he will become a cat and thus began his 'relationship' with the cats~ Junpei also have a crush on Kaede Mizuno, his classmate who loves cats~ Well, found out the rest of the character yourself when u watch the anime. Dunno about the romance part but i didn't found as sweet as Lovely Complex or Kimi ni Todoke~ but it's still worth watching for cat lovers~ at the end of ep12 it's seems like they are hinting for second seasons~ i won't said am very excited about it but definitely anticipated it since i wanna know what happen in the end hehe~ If am Junpei i'll be lonely if i no longer able to understand the cat one day...
Yeah begin my holiday by been an otaku muahahaha~ this week the Tsubasa chronicle manga would finally come to the end, FINALLY~ I didn't follow this manga all the way, i stop reading it when went to NZ and only pick up re-read it again last year when i got nothing better to do in my break last year along with xxx-holic~
Frankly, this story at the end sucks, it's like they have enough with it and simply end it and you HAVE to read both xxx holic and tsubasa to get the story. The story get super mess up that it would need time to digest - think over it again to get the whole thing - geez... all of that jst for a manga hahaa

And so it is finally clear how the whole story start and how it lead to the current state as the mystery is reveal~ It start up with Syaoran and Sakura has a child name 'Syaoran', one day Sakura have a dream, that someone is waiting for 'syaoran' in another dimension. 'syaoran' went to Yuko shop where he was told that he will return after 7 days and he would have to make a choice. And so 'syaoran' was sent to Crow country where he meet Sakura-hime who look like his mum. Sakura hime is performing a ritual inside the ruin. Over that 7 days, the monkey love develop~ and on the seventh day, 'Syaoran' witness Fei wang ripped off the dimension to take Sakura-hime and attempt to put curse on her. As 'Syaoran' had hesitated to take sakura-hime hand, a curse seal was placed on her.
'Syaoran' is then returned to his original world and is asked to make a choice: to go back to crow country and never able to meet his parent again or give up. 'Syaoran' make a choice to go back to Crow country and protect sakura this time. When he was once again meet with Sakura-hime in the ruin when he return, he can see the curse-seal. Sakura-hime father and mother also aware of the seal but only the mother and 'syaoran' can see it. 'Syaoran' stay in crow country, searching for a way to remove the curse for Sakura-hime. On Sakura-hime come of age birthday, the fateful day arrive where she would be killed by the seal. Sakura-hime mother freeze the time right before the seal engulf Sakura-hime.
This is when Fei-Wang step in and offer to fullfilled his wish - to go back to the time before the curse is placed on sakura-hime, to reach for her hand but the wish come with big price- the future of everyone related will be effected, esp the one who knew about the seal. 'Syaoran' make his choice regardless. As the result of his choice, Watanuki existence is created - to replace 'syaoran', hence in some way watanuki = 'syaoran' though they live a different life.
'Syaoran' pay the price with his own "time" and "freedom", imprison by Fei-Wang. Before Fei-Wang take 'syaoran' he said to Watanuki that he is something that should not exist and that his existence itself would bring misfortune to everyone around him and implant the idea of as long as Watanuki continue to exist, the twisted world should continue. Which explain why in xxx-holic watanuki, despite losing all his memory as the price he pay to yuko, to located both sakura, subconsciously wish for himself to disappear.
Fei-Wang clone 'syaoran' so he can use it as his pawn but 'syaoran' manage to give half of his "heart" to the clone so Fei-Wang cannot control it. It is also reveal that because 'syaoran' that he 'turn back time' act might also twisted both fay and kurogane future.
Fei-Wang also clone sakura-hime but unlike 'syaoran', the clone also completely clone the soul and the original body disappear after been clone. Her soul however remain, trap in the time when 'syaoran' freeze. So the sakura we see throughout the story is the clone, same as syaoran, but with a cloned soul. Sakura's soul was killed by cloned syaoran and cloned syaoran finally come to his sense but was killed when he betray Fei-Wang. Both Sakura and Syaoran reincarnated into 'syaoran' mother and father, Syaoran Li. Such a mess up eh~ Original syaoran is the son of cloned sakura and syaoran; the son is the original prototype to the father @_@ Fei-wang desire only need the original sakura soul and the cloned body that had travel through dimension and time, that's why he don't mind the original body destroy and the cloned soul killed.
As for Yuko, she was death long time ago, but Crow Reed who had very strong power unintentionally wish that she would not die. Due to his strong power, Yuko time has been stop, she's stuck with die edi but cannot disaspear mode. The same fate as sakura-hime lah, stuck at that dying moment eternally. As the result of this wish, sakura-hime original father and mother fate changed. The father become the cloned syaoran foster father while the mother die. Crow Reed himself went to Crow country to be the cloned sakura father to guide her. (which explain the same face but different role in same dimension/country)
Also the Crow country is actually the Tokyo (the one in OVA), so in the beginning of the story there is no sakura's feather in Crow country but when they go back to the location of original sakura-hime soul, there is feather in the ruin. (because in Tokyo, the clone leave the feather in the water)
Fuh~ such mess up world.... really require some mess up thinking to be able to come out with this thing and have that ability to actually put it to words and drawings..... regardless, it still make the reader goes WTF!! going in circle....
Hmm.. i finish download this on monday but didn't watch it until yesterday cos i don't like that Tucker guy! So anyway, knowing how the story will end up surely took away lot's of feeling there when watching this episode, knowing what would happen to Nina and Alexander.... But anyway i certainly enjoy watching at the fighting part and Ed + Alexander playing part ^_^ Scar show up at the very begginning of the episode killing 铁血之炼金术师,yah~ the fight is flashy.
Nothing much that i wanna write on this episode as i really don't like this Tucker guy, still impress with how they squash the story into an episode without taking out any important element of the story, it also seems they really skip the mining part since the loser officer is been mention on the run, hmmm..... and dunno why i feel that there's sth been change in this episode too hahaha~ didn't feel so original edi.

Walao! they really squeeze Lior into 1 episode, the pace of the story is amazing -_- they really can shrunk the former 51 ep series into 25/26 no problem if they go on this pace. But what happen to the 'stick closely to the original' part, Rose where got this annoying and persistent ah in manga and the way the fight with that idiot high priest or whatever is different lah!! Oh well, at least prove they do remake whole thing, no slack off, but not original anymore lol in some ways it's bad to have manga fresh in mind and watch this, cos can feel something missing and what changes but the core are still there, all the important part need for the plot and the line Ed said to Rose: " 站起来，继续向前迈进吧，你不是有着一双健全的脚吗?" The pace of the stories somewhat took away the 'touching' element from me lah~ Nevertheless, the scriptwriter is really amazing summariser, squeeze 2 episode into one and yet still somehow maintain the important part of the story, not bad lah. Ed's sound more dark and serious somehow, dunno lah, i felt the different despite same person cast for him.
Next episode they skip to Tucker and Nina, mah they pretty much explain the past edi so it's okay to fast forward there i think but are they gonna skip the mineral town part?? That town is important o, many character go there in manga~ All the rushing, hope they don't took away the 'sad' feel from me for Nina's story, i remember last series the music + Ed sadness make me feel sad for Nina too~~ Fast forward to Nina also mean Scar gonna show up edi!! O_o serious part sure come fast~ bet they wanna hurry put Winry in edi.
Huhu am still very motivated to do the review for this series (for now) since am in the i rather waste time on various unnecessary stuff rather than study kinda mood. My pc been burning midnight oil and work OT to finish Dl it leh~ So anyway second episode is been telling the past for Ed and Al, the start of the episode confirm my guess that last ep and this ep took place before Lior. Ed and Al is on the train to their next mission in Lior (which in manga and last series, Lior is the starting of the stories).
So i guess they decided to fully explain about Ed's and Al's past and how Ed become the Fullmetal Alchemist in summarise form, kinda mention everything edi, even briefly mention the existence of their master. But walao look at the pace, finish 'telling' it in one episode!! Leave out some detail too in some ways (like i said, i baru re-read the manga so it pretty much still sit fresh in my mind and i sorta know what is missing) but anyway i don't hate it. Me just wondering wouldn't that kinda spoil the mysterious part. When we read the manga or when watching the first series, we sometime get a bit flash back of their past and we been wondering
what happen etc and when it finally been review it all is sooo emotional and touching etc, by fast forward explaining everything in one go spoil a bit of the nice touching part bah for me.
Maybe the producer remake it by assuming we all watched the last series or the manga before so there is no mysterious feel edi to begin with since WE KNOW EDI bah hehe~ so rather than loso loso there might as well hurry to the past which last series didn't mention since they change the plot. Bagus in some way, meaning they r doing their job properly, not cutting and paste the graphic from last series and repackage it and claim it as new product bah. Judging from the pace, don't tell me they also gonna summarise Lior into one episode eh? that would be amazing leh~ like how ah? something that a wordy person like me can't do, summarise it in short, simple and precise way~~
Anyway for those of you who wacthed/read it before you know about their past lah so no need me to repeat it here, as for those of you who don't know i don't go spoil all the fun by telling u everything. (the pic edi spoil ur fun hahaha) Hmm.. i dunno is it the pace of the story and the background music, somehow it's less touching, Gah!! make me wana re-watch the last series lah!! Bother please return my FMA to me!! it's been sitting in ur drawer in ya living room for 3 years edi!! and i hope it still alive -__- u know pirated stuff + the dunno what brand Cd i use to burn it~ (and there i am, calling myself love FMA when i support all the piracy hahahaha banzai to piracy that i can watch FMA mah~)
The anime is not the continuous from the previous series. It's a remake of the series and this time it's gonna follow through the original storyline. Despite of saying that, they really Redo everything eh~ The starting point of the story change make it somewhat very weird, for a while i was thinking where do they intend to pick the storyline from?? I guess the manga still fresh in my mind since i just read it not long ago. Roy is in Central edi to begin with, and Eric's brother edi know Armstrong edi -_- so i feel weird when they dunno Hughes (yesh he's alive, but gonna die again, sigh~ hahaha since we do know he die in original i guess it's gonna be the same bah in the remake series) Same old Hughes start showing off his daughter and wife again ^_^ Enemy or opponent of the ep is this new introduce character, Ice Alchemist Isaac that is so insignificant that he is to be kill off in the same ep as well. Kimblee, (that Crimson Alchemist) also show up in the first ep, though the face not show clearly, as well as the Homunculus Lust and Gluttony. So really it's not a anime to follow if you never touch FMA before, cos it's soo not follow the original at this point hahaha but certainly somewhat satifying for people like me who love FMA so much and don't mind watching it in different story entry mode. From the last scene of the episode, it seems that this epsisode story taking place before Lior. I still adore Ed's over reaction to the word 'small' as well as how everyone been treating Al's as the Fullmetal Alchemist hehe~ Oo Armstrong still as always enjoying showing off his body~ Roy is somewhat a bit pathetic in this episode and i know they change most of the cast, but i really not used to this new Roy voice T_T there's something in it that make me feel heh? siapa tu? what happen to my Ryo? Fortunely, Ed and Al both still got their original cast do their voice. Next episode seems like they gonna explain about Ed's and Al's past~
FMA also have best song and sountrack and by far am happy with Yui and SID doing the Op and Ed song, i like it ^_^ Generally speaking, am soo excited that they remake the series again that i can accept most of the no good there! I wonder when they gonna introduce Hohenheim since he was in the very beginning of the Op. Oh and what with that cheesy/weird sounding english announcer that said " Fullmetal Alchemist" in the middle there? I think it'll be better if that leave that sound out.
