Yam Cha

This is from quite a while ago, miss yam cha soo much that i manage to drag Vanya to go with me, going with 'flushing the money down the toilet' sort of feeling! prepared to spend!

Was intend to go to another restaurant but Vanya finish her group meeting late due to some @#$% people. She only call me at almost 1pm, including bus time and stuff we could only get there at almost 2pm! Yam cha generally end at 3pm no good. So i suggest this place, Imperial Kingdom, been driving past it for numerous time over past 3 years on 703 or 737 buses.


The food are pretty good, some very good some weird lah, generally up to standard bah the taste, service are okay, get seated prett fast and served v. fast too. Price are 'good' too! ate too much, end up paying tonnes for it T_T One thing about Yam Cha is 9/10 of the food have prawn... can't take mum to any yam cha! she would have nothing to eat beside sweet stuff!


This is one of the weird food, taste weird to me... Vanya won't touch it cos she hate that vegie, me v. sick of finishing it all alone
豆腐花 feel good to eat this after haven have one for soo long, never a fan of it but it just brings back memories, mum love it so i used to be force to eat this (Mum said am such a baka for dunno how to appreciate this nice taste =.=||) Well i do like it but not LOVE so too much of it is no no for me. Vanya complain they use 糖水 (sweet water) and i was like huh? aren't it meant to be sweet? been eating it sweet for my whole life. Well guess that one of the different between the south and the north. Yam cha is afterall northern part of china ppl punya habits. The food meant to taste like how northern ppl eat!
Ah~ we almost completed 3 正!! $66 in total for 2 ppl orz....
