January in summary (well partly)

This is taken somewhere in January, typically Sibu, personally think these few years the drainage system been improving, ever since they 'gorek' the river-like longkang, whenever the water overflow during the high tide period, it recede quite fast when it's ebb.
My uncle's farming life hahaha~ yes the goat still there, they have a baby a few months back, nobody knew the female was pregnant till the sudden emerge of the baby goat =.=|| 'meh' a lot! They just come back from their happy stroll @ my other uncle's mini orchard, cared by my aunt and uncle actually~
If you been shopping @ Guardian these few months, u might aware about this collect 'stamp' and redeem things goings on. This time it's plush Toy, got a Donald duck :D

My niece, Michelle's 6yo Birthday!
Cute happy family. This girl v tall compare to same age, everyone though she's primary or sth but she just second year of Kindi!! Have weird personality, start up v.shy, quite but after some 'warming up' period, she become hyperactive, evil and headache =.=|| still she's a nice girl :D Since she used to be the only 4th generation, she's been spoils a bit by all the family attention + affection hahaha can be v stubborn at a time.
Megan, Michelle's little sister, currently 6 months old, v potential to be a nice girl since she easy to care and hardly cry, smile a lot too :D

結婚できない男

刚看完这部2006年的日剧，是看TVBS时看到预告，因为有阿部寬才看的，非常喜欢他的戏～而且也觉得很难得的有日本演员像他那么高+看片名就知道和爱情戏有关的，看多了偶像剧之类的，难得看部晚婚/不婚的题材很有趣，很接近现在的社会吧～ 看tvb时他们的翻译是《熟男不結婚》，但看日语的是说《結婚できない男》所以《不能结婚的男人》的翻译比较direct吧。。。嗯，我还是只会一点romaji+kanji 的人哈哈哈～

故事里阿部宽是饰演桑野信介，一个年过40的多金建筑师，穿著有品味、爱听古典乐，拥有一流的厨艺，而且还是单身！看似条件优渥的他，却是既别扭又刻薄的贱嘴男，女人一旦认清他的真面目，都会头也不回地绝尘而去。故事都绕着他以及身边的人。

我很喜欢男主角的别扭个性，现实生活估计没几个人受得了吧，以观众的角度看的话倒是很搞笑。也很喜欢狗儿KEN!一人一狗搞暧昧！？ :D

有空去看看吧，很不错的一部!

ps:韩国也有拍这个，就是改編之这部的，不过以我先入主为观的个性，我还是会比较喜欢原版的，所以韩国那个我不看了，我会下意识比较+嫌它的，而且同样题材不想看那么多次，看别的故事吧～

告白 Confessions

最近很少看电影，尤其是日本的，这个是因为看到微博很多人转这个，看评论的放映都很不错，据说是已经入围奥斯卡外语片提名，就看看。


故事一开始，在学期结业日，女教师森口悠子（松隆子）在教室向学生们宣告了一个惊人的消息：她将辞任教师一职，而数月前在学校泳池溺毙的4岁女儿爱美的死并不是意外而是班上学生的蓄意谋杀，犯人就在37名学生之中。

故事还蛮黑暗血腥的，是女老师的复仇记，仿演着社会阴暗面，提醒大家不要忽视青少年犯罪，不过所谓的血腥不是生化危机，僵尸什么的那种血腥，是一部看了心情会有点小压抑的～

对于女教师的行为，并不觉的对还是错，毕竟在那种情况完全理解她对社会绝望的感觉，生活对她十分的残酷。电影拍摄的手法也很好，非常的推荐这部，好想看看它原作～ 这电影是改编自新人作家凑佳苗的同名推理小说，唉～这里没卖吧。。。

最后，我很在意最后那句那句“开玩笑的！”，直觉觉得是死了，那句开玩笑是指他没有重生的机会～ 算了，还是跟我的直觉好，感觉那一切以后这个解读好点，不然对其他人不平啊～

天空の城ラピュタ

好久没写博客了，都在微博～ 2011第一篇博客就献给了宫崎骏早期的作品-天空之城 (Laputa)。1986... 我才2岁吧。。。

据百度说这是Studio GHIBLI 的第一部作品，原作、监督、脚本和角色设定都是由宫崎骏来担任的，剧情说到Sheeta是传说中“天空之城Laputa”的后裔，那曾是超越地上文明不知几千年的空中文明，但不知为何，Sheeta 的祖先离开“天空之城”，抛弃发达的科技，在地面上过起隐居的生活。故事开始Sheeta所坐的飞行船遭到空中海盗的袭击，争斗中Sheeta从高空的飞行船上跌落下来被矿工机师的徒弟，Pasu 发现在一团蓝光的包围下从天上飘下来了。隔天Sheeta 在 Pasu 房间里醒来发现房里有一张“天空之城Laputa”的照片，据说是Pasu 的父亲冒着生命的危险历尽艰险才拍到的真正的天空之城，但除了Pasu之外，没有人相信他，最后在郁郁寡欢中去世了。于是Pasu 发誓，一定要向他人证实，世上真的有天空之城存在！

有些地方，因为字幕不全的关系我没看懂，例如为什么Pasu也会知道最后那个咒语，看百度百科的解说貌似这部动画想表达的讯息很多，嘛～我不研究这个，只在乎剧情就是了，画面漂亮，音乐好，剧情不错，GOOD！ 赫赫～

Very nice art work too but i always prefer 宫崎骏 storyline better somehow~ Should find time search and watch this some time :D

借りぐらしのアリエッティ

This is the animated version by Studio Ghibli sort of adapted from one of my favourite childhood book Diana Wynne Jones. Well i said sort of is caused the novel is quite different with the movie, can't remember much about the story edi when i last watched this anime but i remember Howl~ hehe~ I just wanna watch Howl and Calcifer hehe~ the film make Calcifer so adorable~ Hayao Miyazaki also didn't disappointed me that time and drew me a handsome Howl :D

Anyway i bought the book many moons ago~ finally made up my mind and pour $ on it~ good book are worthy for my collection :D but i only pick up the motivation to read it lately~ still at the beginning of the story there~

Speaking of Hayao Miyazaki (宮崎 駿), he has a new piece of work 借りぐらしのアリエッティ aired sometime in July in Japan, too bad our cinema don't shown Japanese anime in the theater, even if got, not in Sibu :( The website said Now showing, so i guess it just release to some part of the world lately only (aka US~) Anyhow, for our preview, here's a trailer

I love his art style and the theme music in the trailer sound nice to me, the news on weibo said that it's sang by a french singer. ( Wikipedia said she composed the soundtrack for the movie too) Anticipating the source to download fufufu with sub of caused~ from the trailer seems like the story about little people tribe who try to avoid extinction~

I'm back!!

Journey back to home this time have been fairly smooth~ MAS never fail to have super extra long line as usual when check in~ less Malaysian are taking MAS these day ever since we got Air Asia~ most people in line seems like Hongkies and Aussies, daydream a bit and the line edi quite long, not long after i stood in the line, the line is getting ridiculously long! Mas got the counter at the corner which is less wide compare to other hence the view is marvelous~ people stood at the back should really go have a seat, get a cup of coffee at the side and wait, even me who stood in middle been lining up for almost an hour! Of course you will be much faster if you do web check in before hand but too much trouble lah have to print own boarding pass pula! and anyway got luggage to check in also need to line up ultimately~

Get thru X-ray and custom part fairly quickly and smoothly since the line is not long, bet everyone still wondering outside or the other two airline who check in time almost the same as MAS not ready yet~ There's no @#$% people who pull back everyone in our flight this time so we flew off right on time and arrive on time too~ Singapore airline on the other hand is got annoying passenger who disappear i think, the announcement is bugging me when i was talking to my friend on the phone.

The journey is fairly smooth overalls, small turbulence once in a while only and no crying babies all the ways :D, but somehow couldn't get a nice sleep, wonder is it cos of that 777 seats.... think 747 is nicer~ watched 3 movies on flight :D

When got to KLIA, went Starbucks to get coffee + free internet~ haiz... is it just me or did ringgit depreciate so much since when Starbucks cost Rm16++ for a coffee? thought it's Rm13 or 14?? Baru few hours, my easily daily drinks become luxury goods~ thank goodness our kopi beng in kopitiam taste as good hahaha~ daydream till almost 8sth baru headed to the domestic terminal~ Darn it! Aerotrain not functioning due to some upgrade, till 15 march next year!! why off all the time they need to upgrade it when am using it, been away for so many moons they don't upgrade~ Anyway, seems like more luxury brand pop out in KLIA, don't recall got Burberry there last time~

On flight back to sibu~ i sleep like zombie there~ overall, smooth journey and am happy with it :D

糖楼+Starbucks

Vanya wanted to go IKEA, so we went via boxhill since she also wanna stop by the travel agent to ask about air ticket stuff~ went to this dessert place call 糖楼, just open sometime this year, saw many good review about the place.


This shop is owned by hongkies and they renovate it to make it look like hong kong style kopitiam, got empty bird nest hanging there :D

This place is really strictly for dessert only! the food are not filling for people who are hungry and want lunch~ Said opened at 12pm on friday but really only open at 12sth, and as it's not place for lunch, we are the only customers there~ food are pricey, so really not recommended to go there for full meal or you will end up feel bankrupt like me and Vanya~ but oh well, at least the stuff do taste good
. This is my strawberry coconut milk sago, nice and big bowl for a dessert, satisfying my crave of sago :D $7 i think~
This is Tomato with vermicelli + egg~ quite weird taste, vanya and my comment is "we cook better that this one" they shouldn't have add in the pepper lah, the tomato itself goes well with the vermicelli and egg~ ordinary~ i cooked this as my dinner from time to time!

We also order a club sandwich, okay i over-estimated my stomach, i can't ate that much, that sandwich is killing me cos am full edi when i finish that other 2 dish~ After lunch we catch the tram to head down to IKEA, my impression it was a long journey but whenever you are traveling with someone time seems to gone in a flash :), walk in ikea till leg wanna broke~ both of us love to look around home furniture + home design sort of stuff~ 宅女want nice comfy home to 宅~
After Ikea, we went down to city, walk around a bit, saw Starbucks and we somehow ended up in there for another hour~ wakaka can't resist Starbucks whenever we went to city. Chirstmas version cup~ cute eh~ Vanya have Green tea latte as usual, i tried up the peppermint mocha (new menu :D) this one not bad~ better than the Toffee nut (also new) cos that one too sweet for me~ Later we went to David jones to have a browse, initial motivation is to go to the luxury toilet there hahaha toilet in city is sooo hard to find man! have to go to this building, go to the back door, take lift or stair etc baru can reach, seriously WTF!

David jones~ ah a place where even brand like bardot seems extra luxury~ (which in reality it is still an affordable brand like sportsgirl and dotti~) seldom been to david jones punya upstair cos newly renovated Myer always seems much more attractive.

Food 5

Breakfast ~ cup of Milo + a giant blueberry muffin! got the muffin for $3 from a cafe while waiting for the bus~ V.nice, just wish it's not that gigantic, keep me full till dinner this thing... Lunch box @ Kenzo! Look little? but it's darn full! can't finish the rice!
I order it with the miso soup,$20!! pricey!! mah it's a treat to myself after some exam~ taste good too~ don't like that plastic spoon there, dirt cheap and lousy quality!
Been seeing this around for quite a while, even in the picture posted on weibo by celebrities, so was wondering how it taste like, it said it's sparkling mineral water mah, bleh! it's soda!! feel like my intestine kena wash by some cleaning product, yeah sparkling! bubble till it kinda hurt~ and the water taste like distilled water! pif! waste of $$!! the donuts next to it is from Krispy kreme, strawberry flavour~ taste alright but think i prefer Dunkin Donut for the strawberry filled one ^_^
This is the free Slurpee i got from 7-11 on 7-11 day! I took the coke + sour one, that two combo is the best~

Giraffe Cafe 2

I had blog about this cafe many moons ago, been dying to revisit this cute little cafe at Little Lonsdale for it's dessert. Last time they use country as table 'number' this time change to weather? we got cloudy =.= (ooo~ even the name card look so adorable eh~)
Serving is extremely slow, wonder how they cope with peak hour at that speed, am thirsty so by the time the food finally show up, i edi drank half of that bottle of water. It's so slow that Vanya even ask me if they pre-make the cake or what, well of cos~ only decoration is make on the spot~ oh well since we are not in a rush + the dessert are extremely nice, i will forgive them for taking so long hehehe~ I order tiramisu that come with a small dark coffee, the coffee is served with the biscuit i think, either way, the whole thing is fabulous! The coffee is not bitter at all, very nice aroma and the after taste is so dreamy~ coffee lover cannot miss this! The tiramisu v. nice too! The biscuit is a bit too sweet for me, but that one is pre-make one, can buy this from supermarket, it would be nice if eat with tea though~ so not their fault. Strawberry is... well very strawberry taste? v. sour! haha oh well sour goes well with sweet :D
Vanya's one is hot pudding, the white thing is ice-cream, the hot brownie pudding is bury down there, very very chocolaty, even Vanya who don't like sweet chocolate compliment this dessert. (she prefer dark chocolate, esp the darn bitter 90% cocoa that type =.=, my favorite and limit is 70 or 75%, anything more than that is bleh~)
My Cappuccino Frappe and Vanya's Vanilla Frappe, well this two just soso, after that wonderful dessert, can't really taste anything much from this.... they should have serve this to us before the dessert.
Since we sat there so long waiting, i gebo and look around what other people do~ that 2 guy there dunno what are they discussing about but they are on ANZ internet banking website (look like money transfer page to me since i use ANZ too), well they stare at it and talk about it for awfully long time wonder what they talk about? one guy translating the page for another? or explain how to use to another? gebo mode ON.

Food 4

More food photo coming up wakaka blogging about food has become my new interest =.= i love trying out new stuff

Start with the front row, the Milo one is new product, v sweet and chewy~ hmm... think i prefer crunchy... the chips-more looking Korean biscuit is well, very few? hahaha there's like 3-4 packages inside, individually packed, seriously the package took up lot's of space! it taste alright, it's a bit soft, nicer if you microwave it, kinda remind me of NZ cookie time but cookie time is 10times nicer + satisfying! hehehe~ The bottle is pudding i think, i haven't drink it, orange flavor.

Next row, Japanese one is candy, bubble soft drink flavor, haven't ate it yet. Next to it is Cracker also haven't ate, next one is like one of those porky thing but it's not sweet type, i haven't ate this one as well, oh boy~ me surrounded by junk food hehe~

This is instant noodle, too spicy for me, till i can't tell the taste, spicy food lover this is for you, think is kimchi flavor or sth This is really really nice! coated with very nice dark chocolate, forgot which Europe country it is from, a bit pricey judging from the amount of biscuit it has inside, easily finished off a box within an hour =.=|| If you like chocolate but don't want sth as sweet as tim tam, i think this is a good choice, the bottom one got a hint of raspberry inside, not too sweet, the little sourly taste make quite a interesting flavor *wink* This one, hmm... i must admit that i buy it because the box look so adorable... good thing is it's nice. The butter one (whiter one) is good, but the chocolate one, dunno is it cos of the wheat flour or the coco, a bit hard, not as nice as white one in term of taste too, white one at least can fell the butter melt in your mouth. Overall, it's not bad, worth my $3~ It's from Denmark. The tea pot, i bought it for $5 at Myer! hehe adorable eh~ It's English breakfast inside =.= biscuit and tea, yes i know how to enjoy life :D fattening one...

It's been a while~

It's been over a month since i last updated... :( been weibo (mini blog) daily but no rumbling in blog~ still keeping the blog cos this is where i can write some rubbish up when am in mood and feel like it, it's like a record of my life (maybe)

There's a lot been going on, got all my assignment back, the result are okay, am satisfied with them all, am those doing well in internal but not in exam hmm....

Equity presentation 02 is frustrating! but it's weeks ago stuff so better stop whining on the detail now, thinking of it bring back frustrated memory only. All i can said is either is just me, or is this world getting corrupted. I just seems to attract lot's of jerk/bitch/freeloader into my life, esp the life after my 17th birthday + after SPM, aka right from the moment i went Nz, i went in the real world or sth where true friendship + real friend is soooo rare and valuable! Seriously, is like "welcome to reality!"

Life before leaving home is so much simpler, i never encounter bully in my whole life (or maybe am just not the type that can kena bully hahaha), sure we all used to badmouth someone and stuff but we never went overboard on things, hence even there's people we used to dislike, we didn't hate them and stuff. Not like now, my hate list is growing!! thankfully they are also in the "get out of my life" list, ie i probably and wouldn't need to see/deal with them anymore! There's no those bitch-slap video incident like we often seen on youtube/facebook (or at least it was never in my life)

My life back then is all about school, talk non-stop with friends, sleep, eat, do homework, test, tuition, go home watch drama/anime or play video game (esp addicted to all those arcade game), buy/anticipate the new volume of comic weekly, little bit of internet, msn, church on Sunday, then go out eat brunch with parent, then maybe go shopping, sigh~ wish life is THAT simple!

Anyway back to topic, now got exam, one more to go, on next Tuesday. F*** Monash is darn annoying! i always one of those start early end late, exam period could last almost a month for me! This time got lucky, didn't started at the last week of Oct, i started on first week of Nov. This week whole week no exam =.= i already in my holiday + go home mood lah!

As for weather, sure some of u noticed my whining on fb, this year summer isn't that bad, it's still feel like winter most of the time =.=|| no doubt all the country in north gonna have very very bad winter this year.... Prediction on Aussie summer this year, esp the north and east coast, the summer gonna be rainy, stormy, windy, hail, cool in the day; warm and humid at night. Adelaide and Perth not effected, more rain but gonna still be as hot as usual. mah as long as it not killing me now, doesn't really matter to me hahaha going home soon :D

Food 3

Another post on food :D i love food~ and no i haven't gain or lost any weight hehehe~ nice self-control eh? (or lazy :P)

Okay this is for lazy people occasional snack/meal, most of the can soup i bought the type which i just open up the can, pour into a bowl and microwave, this one is a mistake, didn't notice it's condense type T_T shouldn't have put all my attention on the discounted price, anyway thank goodness only bought 1 can, the instruction only required to add the milk but i decided to add in more meat, nowadays they got that chicken breast meat packed like those canned tuna/salmon. Pretty handy if you want some changes for your sandwich, as alternative beside the tuna/salmon or those ham like stuff from the deli.
Taste good, but i not very used to creamy soup (prefer 清汤) so i can only eat/drink this once in a while when i crave for something creamy or just something hot (when lazy to boil soup).

Some other lazy people food, that small packet is soup, free from some instant noodle. Then Easy Mac, years ago, bunch of guys from my ex-housemate church once told us they could not survive without this thing during busy time and said how good it is etc, was not so confident with this kinda stuff back then, esp when i asked what is it, they said it's like pasta, i was Os-ing "huh? pasta? it's soo easy to cook instant pasta with those pasta sauce in jar, why need this? must be not nice" then i completely forgot/ignore it existence till few months back when i was having a stroll in the Woolworth with Angela and randomly spot it and asked her have she tried and is it good. She is like shocked i never tried it =,= oh well~ she recommend the chicken one, i bought the cheese one too since that's the original. Anyway it's very nice to eat as snack, will be very sickening if u intend to make it ur meal for few days straight, cos it's.... creamy? similar to that soup, i cannot tahan creamy food all the time, creamy food are occasional fattening sensation for me. Chicken one does taste nicer (esp if u also cannot tahan too much creamy stuff, the chicken flavour make it a bit better)

Finally, a random picture of the korean style rice cake (炒年糕) in Kimchi's friend. LOVE it sooo much! so springy! mah my spicy food resistance meter broke half way so have to consume it with carbonate drink to cool off my tongue T_T, gradually practicing to eat spicy food hehe~ (this type of spicy am ok, cos it's not hurting or caused discomfort to my throat). Absolutely adore this place, serve nice + affordable + most up to value/price Korean food. But lately they seems to make food extra spicy =.=, maybe is the new girl worked there now like to add in tonnes of kimchi.... (okay i also not sure if she's new but last few time we went there people there all speak/listen okay English, but this girl sort of have a bit difficulty, feel like encounter new worker) Mah this picture still match the theme, lazy people dine out hahaha~ This is what Vanya had that day, baby octopus :D
