Had to say i agree with this guy, dunno why are they really pouring $ trying to find alien boh when they can't even save the earth and what do they expect alien would do when they actually show up? help them save the earth ah? human are an arrogant being that subconsciously they still think that the world revolve around us~
What interesting me in the news is this line "In 2008, American space agency NASA beamed the Beatles song "Across the Universe" into deep space to send a message of peace to any alien that happens to be in the region of Polaris -- also known as the North Star -- in 2439." seriously apa tu? Macross? am very positive US people and NASA been watching too many anime....
So, they been doing stuff like this since 1970's ah~

this topic makes me think of MACROSS too.
however, i believed that there should be others species in the far far away world. but why they have to send message to them...
