My mum was warning me for this Conficker virus thing (she heard from the news) that would strike on this April fool. As a serious computer/internet addict during my stay in Australia, this matter a lot to me. Can't imagine my life if my pc die and i was throw into a life with no pc. I can literally die, academically or mentally. And so i went to google up more information about this virus thing and found this article.
It did state in the article that "There is no reason to believe that there will be any instructions for Conficker to receive on 1 April,They could just as easily be delivered on 2 April, 4 April, 25 May or never." and "Conficker may not activate immediately, preferring to lie in wait before receiving further orders to avoid scrutiny. "
So i guess avoid going online on April fool won't do any good too =_=" and the best thing to do is to have a up-to-date antivirus software and firewall as well as don't randomly click on an unknown link or download any suspicious looking file and recklessly open it.
Speaking of the link, Gah, am quite annoyed with that msn virus that some people still 'breed', hate to get those link! Me used to be one of the victim but somehow got rid of it when i change my msn password, thank god it's not 'living' with me forever! My pc just 'recover' from the lagging problem, i don't need another virus attack on this pc. I need it to live till i graduate eh!!
